K5-8th Grade Instructional Personnel - Must demonstrate proof of qualifications in accordance with Section 1002.421(1)(h), Florida Statutes. You must show proof of any one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in any subject (copy of diploma or completed transcript)
- Three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience
- Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies you to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects (provide documentation such as certifications, professional development, curriculum training, etc.). Pre-K experience and certifications would not meet this requirement.

COOPER CITY, FL JOBS
2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
After Care Teacher
Part Time, 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM
We have an opening for the 2025-2026 school year for an enthusiastic Christian Aftercare Teacher who will foster and facilitate the spiritual, academic, physical, and social development of students. Prior experience is preferred.
The teacher will plan, implement, and carry out effective activities that will help students reach their God potential.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to learning and exploration
- Facilitate homework assistance and provide a quiet environment during homework time.
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide information when necessary.
- Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation, learning, and sharing
Cooperate with administration and staff
Requirements:
- High school degree or GED required. Must be at least 18 years old. Higher degrees are a plus
- Creative teaching abilities
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Physical constraints required include the ability to hear the conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid, the ability to see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses, to speak and be understood under normal circumstances, to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds, and the use of arms, hands, legs, and feet with or without corrective devices to accomplish the job, including evacuation of the building during emergencies.
- Model appropriate and professional behavior at all times
- Maintains accurate records of student attendance and departures
- Writes incident reports and informs Aftercare supervisor of any incidents that require attention
- Maintains workspace by cleaning up, organizing, and respecting shared space
Elementary Math/English Intervention Teacher
Full Time
PCA has an opening for the 2025-2026 school year for a passionate Christian tutor who can work one on one with our students in the subject areas of English and Math. Prior experience of teaching Math and English is required.
Responsibilities:
- Plan an instructional program for the student in keeping with the school’s Math and English curriculum.
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide information when necessary.
- Assess student’s performance to ensure they are mastering age-appropriate skills.
- Monitor the child’s interactions, and nurture cooperation, learning, and sharing.
- Cooperate with administration and staff.
Requirements:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in elementary education or be certified in elementary Math/ English.
- At least one year of full-time teaching experience at the elementary level, preferably Math/English education.
- Proficient knowledge of child development and the latest educational theories and practices.

Director of Finance
Full time
PCA is a Christ-centered, mission-driven private Christian school dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual formation. We are seeking a faithful, experienced, and strategic Director of Finance to lead all aspects of the school’s financial operations. The Director of Finance will ensure the long-term sustainability of the school through stewardship, accountability, and financial leadership that reflects our Christian mission.
This leadership position works closely with the Head of School, Board of Trustees (especially the Finance Committee), and other administrative leaders. It plays a critical role in operational planning and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership & Stewardship
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies in alignment with the school’s mission and values.
- Prepare and manage the annual operating budget in collaboration with school leadership.
- Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to the Head of School and Board of Trustees.
- Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Audit, Compliance & Risk Management
- Lead the annual external audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain internal controls and policies that protect the school’s financial integrity.
- Identify and manage financial risks, including insurance and liability coverage.
- Tuition Management & Financial Aid
- Manage tuition billing and collection systems.
- Oversee financial aid programs such as Step Up, in partnership with the admissions office, ensuring equitable and mission-aligned distribution of funds.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the Finance and Audit Committees of the Board.
- Present financial updates, trends, and recommendations for strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required (CPA or Master’s preferred).
- At least 3–7 years of senior-level financial management experience, preferably in a Christian school, non-profit, or educational setting.
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Blackbaud, FACTS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supports the work of the school’s licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in assessing and treating students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Under the supervision of a licensed SLP, the SLPA implements treatment plans, collects data, and provides direct services to help students meet their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language screenings without interpretation.
- Implement documented treatment plans or programs developed by the supervising SLP.
- Assist with clerical duties such as preparing materials, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Document student performance and progress toward therapy goals.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable ethical and professional standards.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and team members under SLP guidance.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited SLPA program or a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders (with required clinical training hours).
- Current SLPA license or certification.
- Experience working with children or individuals with communication disorders preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently under supervision.
Note: The SLPA will work under the supervision of the school’s licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and may not perform diagnostic evaluations, interpret test results, or develop treatment plans independently.
SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
Part time
PCA is always looking for qualified SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS in Cooper City, Florida. All applicants must go through a fingerprinting process and be approved before being called to work. Substitute teacher information will be kept on file. The school will call on an as-needed basis.
