NEW FAMILY INFORMATION & ADMISSIONS PROCESS


 
ENROLLMENT FOR NEW STUDENTS
 
As a new school family, we want to ensure your child’s success from the onset. Parents may begin the registration process at Potential Christian Academy by calling the school office at 954-434-1550 and making an appointment for a private tour and consultation.
 
A student is admitted to PCA on the basis of their former school records, entrance exam scores in math and reading, and an interview with the school’s admissions director.
 
Parents may complete all application forms while the student is given the entrance exams. After reviewing the test results, the parents will be notified of the school’s decision regarding the child’s acceptance status.
 
Student registration will be finalized when the following Admissions Checklist has been completed/submitted:
 
PRESCHOOL
 
- Completed application
- Parent/student interview
- Birth certificate
- Health records (immunization and HRS Forms 680 and 3040)
- Enrollment fees collected
- Family Portal and FACTS Tuition Management accounts are open and active
 
ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL
 
- Completed application
- Parent/student interview
- Birth certificate
- Health records (immunization and HRS Forms 680 and 3040)
- Copy of the latest report card and/or withdrawal grades from previous school
- Official transcripts (must be received within 4 weeks of enrollment)
- Most recent standardized test scores
- Letters of recommendation
- Entrance exam passed
- Enrollment fees collected
- Registration form completed and notarized
- Family Portal and FACTS Tuition Management accounts are open and active
 
RE-ENROLLMENT FOR CURRENT STUDENTS
 
A student's enrollment status will be reviewed yearly and invitations to re-enroll will be based on the student's academic progress, good financial standing, and disciplinary record. Re-enrollment typically begins the first week of February for the following school year.
